Russian model in NYC.

Couple weeks before I leave the concrete jungle, New York City, I had the chance to take photos of Elena, a freelance model from Rusia who also into taking pictures as her hobby. Spotted china town and little Italy in downtown Manhattan as the location, here they are photos of Elena :

May ? That was the last time I posted something to this lovely blog ? Slap me for that. I feel like abandoned my own baby. Ups.

Okay, so, actually I've been so busy for these couple months. Doing an observation for my future-work, and also busying (is it even a word in English ?) myself with an international event in South Sumatera. But, here I am again, about to show you guys my latest photo-work with my sister.

Started with stupid conversation, when I trolled an idea to my sister to make her become my model, with no hesitation, she said yes. So, blah, these what I got from her. Trying to be photosession-professional-model, here I present to you guys, my sister-yet-my-partner-in-crime, Ida Susilowati.

Fancy "Gembel"

Two months feels like two years for me. I know this blog seems being neglected by me, but now here am again, with new post which mean new photo.

This time, I'm not act as a photographer but as a model. Well, accidentally as a model. So, last Sunday on October 14th. Me, and two of my friends (R n V) went to Thamrin Residence to have our sports time. Then again, when I tried to do tanning, laying on tanning bed near to swimming pool. My friend, V, who is a professional photographer asked me to do a little bit pose (since he brought his canon 1000D DSLR camera). Trying to be nice, I did what he asked, and guess what, either he is a real professional photographer or I have that what-so-called-talent as a model, the picture was perfect. GREAT.

Here is the photo. We called it Fancy "Gembel". 

STYLE FOR HIM

After such a long time since my last posted. Here I am, back again with the very newest photo of ME. LOL (to much of me, don't you think ?). The photo is taken as my campus assignment and also join quiz from GAP Indonesia. Taken, still, by my brother Elyas Tampubolon.

my editorial-wannabe photoshots

LOL, but hey, don't even dare to laughing and mocking on me. Well, okay, I ain't a proffesional model, so what ? I don't think my photos are that bad at all, I quite confidence to compare my photos to those editorial on famous magazines (yea, I'm that overconfidence).

I'll show you these three photos (actually, I had much more than these three, but think am gonna give you the rest next) which are taken by my brother, Elyas Tampubolon. Digital imaged by Me. Model ? who else ? it's me *saying proudly*.

Love to Kill

What a good mood I have lately to posting something to this blog. It less than a week, but now I back here again with new photo and new story of course.

So, the story of this pic is about a young man who either desperate and psycho, who loves to kill so badly. After kills a lot, he goes even more desperate and in the end, he wanting to kill himself. So tragic, isn't it ? (p.s: the knife is real).

The model was me, art director was me, photographed by my brother, digital imaged by me and my brother.

KORUP + PSSI = KORUPSSI

The line on t-shirt 'KORUPSSI' is about creative mad expression to Indonesia's Football Federation, which called PSSI. There were rumours (that most of Indonesian folks believe as a fact) about this football federation are conquered by a corrupt leader. So, my friends (Eaz and Dheny) giving their creative expression making this such a beautiful t-shirt.

The concept of this photo is about a person who known for corruption, but still got big confidence to stand still because he had 'bigger' people who will stand behind him and got his back.

Feel like need to take one or two photos of the t-shirt, Eaz asked me to snap it for promotional need, so I did it. Due it was with no preparation, no time to find a person with model look or something, so, instead find a model, I ask Eaz become the model, and also a lot thank to Resty and Puspita who are so happily approved my request asking them to let their hands participated as part-models, lol.

Jeans Advertisement (wannabe)

So, last friday. Me, and 4 of my friends are havin photosession. Such a great time, and also greats results (i think). Plenty of photos are taken by me, but these one are the best for me. It consists of three photos basically. The foot part, the head part and full body. Once seeing the pictures, I got an idea to make a wannabe jeans adv.

So, what do you think guys ? Critics are welcome.

Love in Lost

Last week, January 17, 2011 for sure. I had a photosession with my friends, Eaz, Dheny and Rezty. It took a former hotel building in Cileungsi, named 'Komplek Graha Garuda Tiara' as our location. It used 'Garuda'-word because the building it self look like Garuda bird from the top. You can click this link for the picture and this if you want to know details story behind Garuda mithology.

Okay, enough about the location. The point is I do really had a great time with my bestfriends, more good news was that I got few great photos of Dheny and Rezty. I didn't took much pictures of Eaz, due to he was also acted as a photographer that day, using Resty's camera. He has not upload yet his shots, well, you all can keep your eyes to his blog for update.

Now, let me show you what did I got from that photosession. Here they are 'Love in Lost' :

Fyi, I used Canon Eos Kiss X4 for this photosession. All the photos are taken by me and also fully edited by me. Credits to the model, give big applauses to Dheny and Resty, who are so nice and kind willing to be my free model.

Back In The Day

It's wednesday 1.49 pm here now, and I think it is good to remember the old time, just back in the day for awhile.

What I have now is my photo which taken by my brother about two years a go, when myy brother need a model for his photography subject final test. He asked me if I want to do the photoshot or not couple days before the day, then I asked permission from my office (I was a customer service on one of the biggest airline in Asia) for that photoshot and my boss gave me his permit.

and the idea of this photo was japanese style.

p.s : my brother used nikon d200 for this photoshot.

Parking Lot

Wow, time ran so fast lately. Thursday comin again, and it's time for blackandwhite meme photo-post. What do I have today ? Here is the photo taken by my friend, Deddy Samuel Hutahaean (my partner in crime for photography things, well, beside my brother of course), with his Nikon. The location was on Tan Son Nhat International Airport, Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Lost Me

Random picture, this one is myself potrait. Shot by my brother, Elyas Tampubolon - which one of my role model in life. So, talking about this photo, it took on top roof of my mom's house. Can you imagine ? we doing the photo session with those what we called scarry, affraid and yes a hot feelings, but we proud yet satisfied with the results we got. So, here it is one of the photos we made :

Ops, almost forgot. My brother used my friend's camera Nikon DSLR, and yeah fyi, the white thing I use on my neck is not a scarf but a curtain.

My Friend's Photo

Let me clear about some points, first : the photo taken not by me, but by my friend Rezty, who used my camera. She uploaded it soon after she took the photo to her personal blog here. Second : when I saw it, I thought it will be great if I used it for my experiment or digital imaging learn on Photoshop. So, there is, the photo after digital imaging by me. Model Wannabe ?

When I opened up my flickr account few hours a go, I got laughed when saw my old photos from last year and this photo was one of those many photos in my flickr just made me laugh. By the theme, actually this is not a funny-style photo, it suppose yes it was mean to be a fashion-style photo and thats the point, it so funny seeing my self with my friends act as like we all a real model for some editorial of magazines. For information, when we shot this photo, yes we laughed so many, many, many times tried to made those bitchy-look model. Almost forgot, FYI, this photo was made for HutaHita fotografia portfolio.

The photoshot taken by Elyas Tampubolon, which my brother yet my co-owner on our photographer line along with my friend Deddy Samuel. The two others models are my best friends, Dewi Maria (female) and Hirman Hutagalung (male), and for the digital editor was my self.
