Dieng Plateau, Wonosobo

Queuing for the sunrise.

Looking back to eight months a go, I traveled to Dieng Plateau in Wonosobo, Central Java. It was a bus-twelve-hours-driving to go and need almost the same time to get back from Dieng Plateau to Jakarta. I was a tour guide for about twenty-something bank officers in Jakarta, so, the best part of this traveling was I got paid.

That time was the first time ever in my life to leave footprints in a marshy plateau that forms the floor of a caldera complex on the Dieng Volcanic Complex, which sits at 2,000 meters above sea level. What I can say about this plateau is just wow. Wow for the good-cold weather there, wow for the view that I never had before, wow for the unique-taste-yet-shape fruits there, and hundreds more wow for hundreds more good things I got there.

In a very early morning, me and the tour, hiking the plateau to hunt the sunrise, we did it even though it wasn't that great sunrise, but I still got my best-picture at that moment. I captured people queuing step on small stairs before reaching the highest place to see the sunrise with my Canon EOS Kiss X4 camera. What do you think ?

Ida Susilowati

May ? That was the last time I posted something to this lovely blog ? Slap me for that. I feel like abandoned my own baby. Ups.

Okay, so, actually I've been so busy for these couple months. Doing an observation for my future-work, and also busying (is it even a word in English ?) myself with an international event in South Sumatera. But, here I am again, about to show you guys my latest photo-work with my sister.

Started with stupid conversation, when I trolled an idea to my sister to make her become my model, with no hesitation, she said yes. So, blah, these what I got from her. Trying to be photosession-professional-model, here I present to you guys, my sister-yet-my-partner-in-crime, Ida Susilowati.

My Working-Holiday

Traveling, always been addicting to me, at least since four years a go. As now, am traveling again for a month in Thailand, from Bangkok to Chiang Mai. With a very minim budget, I still forced my self to keep traveling wherever it is.

When Thailand as a destination for this traveling. I start rolled-over my brain, thinking how to get survived while traveling with money less than 150 $ for a month. I recalled to my self, and I got the answer. I was thinking what about selling myself as photograper to get a short of money.

So, days before I leave to Thailand, I sent messages to all my friends who lives in Thailand, promoting my coming, and guess what I got ? I got three clients before the Day. Two are in Chiang Mai, one in Bangkok. Because of them, me and my friend can finally still survive untill now, where our trip will be ended up on 7th of May.

Here are two clients that I took the pictures in Chiang Mai (the male client's name is Beer, Laos man who has lived in Thailand for ten years, the female is Nogni, the Holland girl who teaching English in Chiang Mai, Thailand for almost two years):
