HDR wannabe

I just found out about HDR style for editing on photoshop not so long ago . So, when I have this tree picture - which I took about a month ago*, I decided to edit the photo with that style, the HDR - High Dynamic Range style but I think I failed with my try, dont you think so ? In my opinion this photo it just away from what HDR photo editing should be, it's so HDRless.
